This Little Snake Is Working Hard to Become a Dragon

A heartwarming story about a little pink snake being raised by the Dragon Emperor until it finally becomes a dragon.

Their daily life goes something like this:

The little pink snake toddles along behind its dragon dad: When will I grow as big as you?

Dragon: You can't grow to be like me.

Little pink snake: Oh... (disappointed)

Seeing the little snake's disappointment, its dragon dad changes tack: Maybe if you eat more, you can.

The snake, no thicker than a finger, opens its enormous jaws, ready to swallow the ox that watches over Lord Lao's furnace.

Dragon: ...

At last, after successfully overcoming its tribulation and ascending, the little snake, now a dark little pink dragon, stands beside its dragon dad.

"Look! I'm a dragon now!"

An older partner and a growing-up-together story.

Saving this idea for now. I'll polish the blurb later, lol.
