The Marriage-Hungry Alpha Doesn't Know They're Everyone's Crush

Adrian watches helplessly as one classmate after another finds a partner.

"Why doesn't anyone want to marry me?" the young master asks his friend, fidgeting. "Am I not lovable?"

His friend glances at Adrian, who's so popular that no one dares confess to him, and hesitates. "Didn't someone confess to you yesterday?"

"B-but he's an A too." Adrian's eyes widen in dismay. "Our family has a throne to pass down."

His friend: "..."

Does he mean those sixty-five potted plants? The little princess is almost too adorable.

"They might not outlive you," his friend says. He helped weed yesterday and saw that more leaves had fallen.

"Don't you dare curse them!" Adrian bristles.

The young master, still without an answer, decides to rebel. He's got a little money of his own, and he wants to keep a pretty boy!

Adrian peeks around his friend's back, looking this way and that, then fixes his gaze on someone.

In the corner, a powerful-looking man dressed in black happens to look up at him.

Good. This pretty boy looks healthy and unlikely to waste away under his care. He's mine!

Confidently, he goes on the offensive. "I want to keep you. How much to take you home?"

The assassin lurking in the shadows is suddenly brought into the sunlight. Eyes brighter than sapphires gaze up at him expectantly.

Can you take me home? He seems to hear the adorable words.

Victor, the world's number one, who came here to kill someone: "Sure."

After a pause, he adds, "Would a million a day be enough?"

Reader notes:

1. It looks like the bottom is keeping the top, but actually the top is living off the bottom.

2. The top is the empire's darling, a beloved heartthrob. Because of his upbringing, he thinks he absolutely has to get married. He's a flirt, but somehow manages to dodge every straightforward confession and love-triangle situation without realizing it. He's always sniffling and asking why nobody ever confesses to him.

The bottom is the best in the world, top-tier in combat, a space pirate leader and the Federation's heir (with a secret identity). His family owns hundreds of planets. His biggest goal right now is to marry the other side's sapphire and bring him home.

3. The top gets lots of cat and dog comparisons, and plenty of people have one-sided crushes on him. The bottom goes a long time without getting to call himself his boyfriend.

4. A personal indulgence. There may be over-the-top emotions, lots of memes, plenty of sweetness, and intense romantic rivalry.

In the end, it's still an AA romance.jpg

Not much plot, just something fun and satisfying.
