Chen Zhuchuan x Feng Zhou

Four years after graduation, Feng Zhou broke up with Jiang Yue, quit his job at a major tech company, and returned to the small city where he'd once lived.

He was waiting for everything to begin again.

But on the very day he returned, an unusually heavy rainstorm hit. Feng Zhou had no umbrella, and stood miserably beneath the eaves outside a shop, dragging his suitcase along.

The rain still hadn't stopped after a long time.

Just as Feng Zhou was about to give up, a pair of rain-speckled shoes appeared in his line of sight.

He looked up.

Chen Zhuchuan still looked the way he remembered him, with sharp features and a more mature air than he'd had in high school.

"Didn't bring an umbrella?" he asked.

Feng Zhou said he hadn't.

They listened to the rain in silence.

After a while, the other man seemed to hesitate for a long time before asking Feng Zhou in a low voice, "Did you come back alone?"

-

Jiang Yue hadn't really wanted to break up with Feng Zhou. After seven years together, Feng Zhou had become a habit he couldn't give up.

He returned to their old city to try to get back together with Feng Zhou, but was turned down time and again.

He had no choice but to catch up with Chen Zhuchuan, an old friend who was still in touch with Feng Zhou.

Jiang Yue bought him a drink and pleaded, "Brother Chen, please help me again. I want Feng Zhou back by my side."

Chen Zhuchuan avoided his touch.

"I'm sorry."

Chen Zhuchuan refused, without the slightest intention of backing down.

"I want Feng Zhou very, very much too."

-

A long time ago, Jiang Yue asked Chen Zhuchuan for help, saying he wanted to pursue Feng Zhou.

A long time later, Chen Zhuchuan still remembered the afternoon Feng Zhou accepted Jiang Yue's confession. He stood behind a pane of opaque blue glass, his heart nearly shattered.

"You are the pane of blue glass in my heart."
