So What If a Mean Beta Cries?

Yue Lin has a pretty face, but a truly awful personality.

Everyone says he’s arrogant, domineering, and looks down on everyone. Even though he’s just a Beta with no pheromones, he doesn’t take even the highest-ranking Alpha seriously.

But he has a condition that makes him cry uncontrollably. Whenever his emotions run high, tears spill out.

The first time Yue Lin met Feng Qi, they got into an argument. Yue Lin immediately picked a fight and threw a punch.

Feng Qi was an Alpha with a temper too, and soon the two were grappling on the ground.

But as they fought, Yue Lin suddenly started crying.

Feng Qi awkwardly let go. “Uh… you’re crying.”

He was polite, but Yue Lin wasn’t about to be nice to him.

Yue Lin grabbed Feng Qi by the throat, pinned him to the ground, and straddled him, patting his face from above.

No one knew why Feng Qi’s normally stable Alpha pheromones had suddenly gone haywire.

And this oblivious, pretty Beta just tilted his chin up arrogantly and blamed him first: “Well, you made me cry.”

Yue Lin discovered Feng Qi’s secret.

He knew Feng Qi’s pheromones went out of control whenever he was around, and that Feng Qi deliberately left his pheromones on him.

After another bout of pheromone-induced loss of control, Feng Qi opened his eyes. The owner of that pretty face was looking at him with a bright smile.

Yue Lin, who usually rolled his eyes whenever he saw Feng Qi, was smiling sweetly now, but made another outrageous suggestion:

“Feng Qi, want to date me?”
