The Tyrant Dotes on Me: Where Did That Foolish Abandoned Consort Run Off To?

A silly bottom transmigrates into the body of an abandoned consort in the Cold Palace. When he opens his eyes, there's no water, no food, no money, and no one around.

Luckily, he meets a kind person who comes by every so often to help him out.

It's just that this kind person's identity seems rather unusual.

The first time, the kind person tells him he's an assassin who came to take the tyrant's head.

The bottom believes him. In a panic, he gathers up his few possessions and shoves them all into the top's arms.

"You'll pay with your life if you kill someone. Take these for the road, and find some other work."

The top looks at the three chipped bowls and one broken spoon in his arms and falls silent.

The second time, the top tells him he's the Seventh Prince, imprisoned after losing the battle for the throne.

The bottom believes him. With tears in his eyes, he hugs the top and sniffles as he comforts him. "It's all right. There's nothing in the palace, but I'll stay with you."

The top looks at the swing he made with his own hands in the courtyard, the delicacies just delivered from the imperial kitchens, and the piles of gold and jewels in the corner, and falls silent.

The third time, the top tells him he's the tyrant everyone says is destined for a gruesome death.

The bottom believes him again. Looking up at him hopefully, he asks, "Then can you get me out of the palace?"

The top tightens his grip on the edict naming the bottom empress and replies expressionlessly, "No."

"But I can make you a consort. How about it?"
