After the Face-Blind Omega Chose the Wrong Person

1.

As the empire's only little Omega prince, Pei Ran was raised like a precious treasure. Beautiful and delicate, he drew every eye wherever he went.

But everyone knew that Pei Ran never let his gaze linger on an alpha, nor did he ever give one special treatment.

The alphas were perfectly happy with this, assuming Pei Ran simply hadn't come around yet. In truth...

It was because he had severe face blindness.

#Sorry, but I really don't know who you are#

2.

After a chance encounter with an alpha at a routine banquet, Pei Ran found himself in bed with them. With his next heat looming, he had no choice but to set out and find the person.

Day one: He spread a rumor about the marshal, and the marshal found out.

Day two: He stole the councilor's clothes, then denied it to his face.

Day three: He sent the pirate chief to jail and inherited his cat.

Day four: ...

After all that, Pei Ran stared at the list of suspects, which had grown from three to four, and fell into deep thought.

The alphas, vaguely sensing that he was sending them a message, blushed and felt their hearts race.

3.

After investigating in every way he could think of, Pei Ran still hadn't found Suspect A. Worse, he was horrified to discover that every alpha's attitude toward him had become... very strange.

The marshal/pirate/councilor/judge: He loves me so much. He spread rumors about me/sent me to jail/stole my clothes.

Pei Ran: ?

Just as everything was becoming a complete mess, his emperor brother sent him a fifth alpha suspect.

Candidate Number Five was gorgeous, tall, broad-shouldered, long-legged, utterly obedient, and ready to do whatever he was told. Without a word, he took out all the competition and claimed the prize.

Bodyguard by day, boyfriend by night.

Apart from being quite jealous, he was a perfectly good temporary partner.

Pei Ran was entirely satisfied, until one day he happened to notice the bite mark on the emperor's wrist. It was exactly the same as the one he'd left on his boyfriend the night before.

Exactly. The. Same.

4.

Later, the beautiful young man wandered into the depths of the imperial palace.

A red cord bound his snow-white wrist, and silver bells jingled around his ankles.

The emperor apologized softly, but when he looked up, his eyes betrayed a possessiveness so intense it made one tremble.

"Don't look at them."

"I love you."

Both leads are each other's first. The emperor is the top, and their bond and love for each other run deeper than anyone else's.
