Big lion x little kitty, saving each other

1.

In his guardian's eyes, Chi Ning was his most successful creation.

Gentle and composed, obedient and well-behaved, his daily routine consisted of flower arranging, embroidery, and baking little treats.

His guardian was very pleased, until one day Chi Ning's temperament changed so drastically that the snakes near the town fled overnight.

In the emperor's eyes, Nofler was his greatest failure.

Arrogant and uncontrollable, his only redeeming quality was his ability to command troops in battle.

The emperor was at his wits' end, until one day Nofler's temperament changed. He actually began calling him "Your Majesty" in a gentle, obedient voice.

2.

One day, the soldiers of the First Legion were horrified to discover that their general had not only become gentle, but had even started smiling.

After careful analysis, everyone reached the same conclusion: he must be in love!

The general: Nonsense! We're just in a pure, temporary guardian relationship!

Later, a soldier happened to see a scene in the dimly lit training room: a golden lion carefully lowered his head and gently nuzzled the little cat curled up asleep in his arms, paws tucked in.

3.

Nofler once thought he would go on living amid endless slaughter and bloodshed, until one day he died a quiet or glorious death.

That was until he caught a cloud in the depths of the starry sea.

Chi Ning once thought he would spend a dull life in a quiet little town, then die quietly amid rules and regulations.

That was until he saw a shooting star high in the heavens.
