[Western Crossover] The Master Craftsman Saves the World

Deathstroke was hired for a special assignment by the military of Country M: destroy the last Eye of Heaven in the world.

It was a tool for detecting extraterrestrial signals on Earth, its name appearing in numerous works of science fiction, including Don't Answer 1998. With aliens invading so frequently in the twenty-first century, destroying it was practically a blow to Earth's defenses.

But Deathstroke didn't care. He was a mercenary, and mercenaries had no conscience.

After enduring countless hardships, he made it to Country A. It took every ounce of effort to infiltrate the base, and even using all his abilities, he nearly died at the inner checkpoint.

Fortunately, he managed to get inside.

All Deathstroke had to do was cut through the steel cables. But he landed on the detector and spent half the night hacking away with all his strength without making a dent. It wasn't until dawn that he finally managed to make out four large characters among the countless scratches and densely packed blocky labels: Made in China.

Aa had been an ordinary researcher in life. After dying from overwork, he was recruited by a secret identity System. It claimed that if he could earn positive emotions from key heroes, he could create all kinds of character cards and fall in love with different people.

Aa mused, "Could I be a writer or a screenwriter? Sure, that sounds interesting too."

System: "They're all products of mitosis, dear. Each one is another you, and you can experience everything firsthand whenever you like. After all, our main selling point is a truly personal experience~"

He thought he'd get to see all sorts of mythical creatures, elves, vampires, and the like, and have a romance with a superhero while running a flower shop, bookstore, or cafe.

But instead

The chemist with Aa's face buried himself in the lab, working on the front lines of new energy research every day. "This is interesting too!"

The engineer with Aa's face devoted himself to researching repairs for worn steel cables. His product held Deathstroke off at a key national base for an entire night. "This is really interesting too!"
