[Western Crossover] A Bouquet for Bruce

After transmigrating, Sigrid kicks her ungrateful agent to the curb, punches out her awful relatives, sells off her assets, and prepares to quit the industry and run away. Before she leaves, surely it wouldn't be too much to sleep with a handsome billionaire?

But the next morning, Sigrid is lying in the king-sized bed of the Wayne Hotel's presidential suite. Bruce Wayne is right beside her, close enough to touch. Her unread messages are from her biological uncle, the Penguin, and the agent she just blocked last night seems to have been seen with Lex Luthor...

Sigrid: I don't dare open my eyes. I hope this is just a hallucination.

No! Why did my memories from my past life get shipped separately? I've already offended everyone I should and shouldn't have. What good is remembering now?

Bruce Wayne, who had woken up long ago, pretends to be sleepy and murmurs a good morning in a deliberately husky voice.

"Good morning," Sigrid says, her survival instincts in overdrive. "Marriage?"

Bruce Wayne blinks slowly. Hm?

Bruce Wayne suspects his secret identity might be at risk. The one who might expose him is a girl from the Penguin's family, his sworn enemy.

He only suspects it, rather than knowing for sure, because of how she pretends nothing is amiss.

Once, the paparazzi took pictures of him out in the middle of the night. His companion, Miss Cobblepot, who should have been sleeping soundly under the effects of sleeping pills, brazenly gave him a false alibi in front of the media.

...Afterward, she even looked at him with innocent, watery green eyes and asked what was wrong.

He suspected she knew about his nighttime identity, but had no proof. So he began testing her discreetly, only to come away empty-handed every time.

When a Batman cowl appeared on his desk, the girl covered her mouth and asked whether Bat-Bruce was real.

When she saw the wounds on his body, the girl ran her hand over his abs and sighed, "So sexy."

When she saw the secret door leading to the Batcave, the girl simply pretended to be blind and walked right past it.

When she saw the diamond ring bearing the Bat-symbol, the girl asked if Batman was finally going to take care of the Penguin.

Bruce: ...

That silly girl.
