In the year 10,000 AD, an infinite game descends upon the Galactic Alliance.
It announces: As a chosen civilization, you must send players into game instances to survive one deadly game after another, ultimately evolving or perishing.
When they learn the rules, the entire Alliance falls silent.
The Galactic Alliance, formerly the Solar System Alliance, is made up primarily of humans, who originated on a planet in Orion's Second Arm. After tens of thousands of years of growth and development, its territory now spans hundreds of millions of light-years. Its deep-space fleets number in the trillions, and it possesses the most advanced technology in the universe. It has established friendly treaties with countless planets, lives in harmony with a multitude of species, provides long-term aid to less advanced civilizations, and maintains peace and prosperity throughout the galaxy. Now the Alliance is exploring the boundaries of the universe and reaching toward the next stage... In short, it's a max-level civilization.
Destruction? Us? The people of the Alliance are collectively dumbfounded.

[System Notice: World: Human Galactic Alliance is now online.]
The announcement appears in the channels of various worlds. Instance bosses lurk in the darkness, waiting for new prey to take their seats at the dinner table.
Then, the next group to enter an instance is a fully armed combat unit in uniform.
They carry cases of nuclear bombs and assault rifles on their shoulders. When monsters attack, they find cover and suppress them with gunfire, then counterattack. Their formation is standard three-by-three.
Instance boss, caught in a barrage of gunfire as soon as it shows its face: ???
From then on, the game takes a sudden turn.
Viewer A: They're insanely powerful, seriously... I just watched them blow up that D-rank instance boss until all that was left was a fragment the size of my palm.
Viewer B: Yesterday's C-rank instance was even worse. How did they bring a star-destroying cannon in there?!
Viewer C: I watched that instance. One of them even took a bag of soil back with him... I think he said he wanted to see if he could grow crops? Is that something a normal person would say?!
Monster: That freaking human is still chasing me! This is the third bombing! Monsters have lives too!!

Alliance Major Lin Shaoyu is exploring a mysterious planet never before marked on any star chart, near the edge of the universe. The planet contains the ruins of an ancient civilization. The moment the game descends, he opens a treasure hidden in the ruins.
The next second, he falls into a strange place, surrounded by a few ordinary people dressed in primitive clothes, trembling like they've walked out of books written tens of thousands of years ago.
A game? Teams? Teammates? What kind of illegal reality show is this?
While Lin Shaoyu is still confused, the boss appears. The primitive people scream and flee, while Lin Shaoyu alone remains where he is.
Under the Alliance's Deep Space Rescue Regulations, Alliance military personnel are duty-bound to protect civilians of any species. Lin Shaoyu fires at the boss without hesitation.
The boss falls at the sound of the shot. The game ends within five minutes. His teammates are left bewildered as the reward settlement suddenly begins, while Lin Shaoyu kindly asks, "Would you all like humanitarian aid from the Alliance?"
