Rebirth

"Love made me die, then brought me back to life." Family and redemption

My mother died in childbirth.

My father said I was bad luck.

My older brother hated me to the bone.

To make up for it, my father married my mother's younger sister and treated her daughter as his own.

Even the person I had a crush on was fascinated by her.

With nothing left to hope for, I decided to end it all.

On the hospital rooftop, I ran into a boy who was just as desperate as me.

I got impatient waiting. "It's been half an hour. Are you going to jump or not?"

The boy nearly wet himself, then turned and swore at me. "What's wrong with you? You're rushing me to jump?"
