A Sweet, Chubby Little Bird

President Gu found a little chubby finch.

Fluffy and round, sweet, clingy, and fond of burrowing into his shirt pocket. Give the little thing a tiny taste of sweetness, and it would flap its wings shyly before tumbling, dizzy, into his palm.

President Gu was cold and decisive in public, yet he personally built it a nest and let it run wild on top of his head.

One morning, a handsome, delicate-looking boy with snow-white skin appeared beside his pillow. Frowning, President Gu picked him up to toss him out, but the boy flapped about like a chick. “H-hubby, it’s me...”

President Gu froze. “Hubby?”

The little finch had taken human form, but knew nothing about human society.

He spilled milk, scratched up documents, and ran around barefoot.

President Gu couldn’t stay calm. He immediately pinned the boy down and gave him a thorough scolding.

The boy sniffled against his leg and promised he’d never do it again, only to turn around and cause fresh trouble.

Later, the boy was carrying a baby. Holding a little rice-ball bundle, the two cuties looked up at him with wide, pleading eyes.

“Hubby... are you going to eat me and the baby?”

The man toyed with the two little fluffballs. “Steamed.”

The boy seemed to steel himself and bravely shielded the baby behind him.

“Then... if you eat the little birdie, you can’t eat the baby, okay?”

[Bonus Scene]

One day, the little finch hid glittering diamonds in his shabby nest.

President Gu raised an eyebrow. “Stealing things again?”

The boy said shyly, “I’m building a nest, so I can lay eggs for my hubby.”

President Gu looked at the priceless gems, fell silent for a moment, then scooped up his little wife.

“Not a bad nest. Now it’s time to hatch some eggs.”

[Reader's Guide]

1. Both leads are virgins. One-on-one romance, happy ending. The little finch takes human form with the equivalent of an eighteen-year-old human body.

2. Pregnancy and child-rearing later on. Cozy, healing, and adorable~

3. The setting is entirely fictional. Please don’t compare it to real life.
