Even My Gu Says It Likes You

The Miao girl Lin Jiangchu sneaks away from home, only to be captured by a merchant caravan along the way. While watching the drama unfold from behind a curtain, she nearly gets her throat slit by a sword. From then on, she clings to Shen Qingmian, the handsome assassin from the Central Plains.

"Shen Qingmian, I've put a love bug on you. From now on, you'll like me a little more every day."

"Shen Qingmian, I'm out of peach blossom wine again."

"Shen Qingmian, do you like me a little more today?"

"Shen Qingmian..."

Shen Qingmian had been ordered to carry out an assassination, but accidentally injured the woman inside the carriage. Not only did she put a bug on him, she clung to him the whole way.

She talks nonstop, telling him trivial things every day. She's spoiled and chatty, always saying she likes him, and often gazing at him with a silly smile.

But one day, when her attention shifted elsewhere and no longer lingered on him, he realized he had long grown used to having her eyes on him.

And the bug she had put on him was taking effect day by day.

Then Lin Jiangchu discovered something alarming, and began avoiding Shen Qingmian, afraid to see him. When Shen Qingmian bluntly told her that he was starting to like her, Lin Jiangchu nearly cried. "You're wrong. You don't like me. It's all fake. Boo hoo..."

"I... I used the wrong bug..."

Only when Shen Qingmian pressed her relentlessly did she finally stammer it out.

But Shen Qingmian didn't care. If he said he liked her, then he liked her. Whatever bug she had used didn't matter, as long as she liked him too.

But after he returned with her to Miao territory, he learned that everything she had said about liking him was a lie.
