You Call This Tennis?

He used to be an assassin. After retiring, he wanted to live a peaceful life, so he transferred to Seishun Academy...

The System that bound itself to him and brought him back to life said all he had to do was play tennis. Apparently, an enormous crisis involving an alien invasion would happen in the future, and he had to keep honing his tennis skills beforehand to protect their planet.

He had no idea why an alien invasion of Earth would be stopped with tennis, but it sounded like a great deal. Haha!

The System warned him in displeasure: [Be careful! This sport is no less dangerous than the hail of bullets you've faced in the past. It might even be more dangerous!]

Izaki Tatsumi: (thinking) ...Okay.

The System was extremely nervous. Keeping an eye on this former assassin with blood on his hands and stopping him from causing trouble was surely going to be a long, hard task!

It had to stay stern and cold, and keep its distance from him. This was just a transaction!

Anyway, as a battle-hardened assassin, even if his body had shrunk for some unknown reason, surely his talent would be extraordinary...

Strength: 1 (Can just barely twist open a bottle of mineral water)

Speed: 2 (The only one in the stats with the highest score)

Stamina: 0.5 (Walked fifty steps today, not bad. I'll reward myself)

Mental strength: ?

Technique: 0 (Knows absolutely nothing)

System: (screaming chicken) [Aaaaaaaaaah! How did you survive the hail of bullets before?!]

Izaki Tatsumi: Ah...

Izaki Tatsumi: (cheerful) Maybe I was lucky?

Watching this guy beat his relative's Echizen Ryoma for the Nth time, leaving him doubting his whole life, the System was at a loss for words.

[Hey... He's about to cry. Hurry up and comfort him!]

Izaki Tatsumi bends over and peers at him: ...Huh, you're right.

System: ...

Echizen Ryoma: ...You idiot of a big brother!!!!

>>>

In short: An anxious System x an unbelievably lucky Host!

This story only crosses over with tennis and the distillery, with tennis taking the lead. The main setting is Seigaku, and it probably won't be a super long story (flops down).
