I Use a Tutoring System to Set the Entertainment Industry Straight

After getting thoroughly fed up with artists’ abilities and attitudes, he decisively prepares to quit. He doesn’t get the chance. He transmigrates :) His dream of retiring in financial freedom is gone. After transmigrating, he’s still in the entertainment industry, now an intern agent for an obscure actor. Jiang Ji: Hmph. As Jiang Ji considers his future, the “Entertainment God System” drops from the sky and smacks him on the head. The System’s mission is for him to debut as an entertainer and reach the top of the industry. Jiang Ji raises an eyebrow. “What if I don’t?” Ignoring the System’s suggestion that he become an entertainer, he remembers all the frustration he’s suffered at the hands of artists and turns around to exploit a loophole in the System. Using the System’s sleep-learning space, he creates a fake endless-loop game called “Entertainment God Challenge” and drags celebrities of all sizes into the space to give their abilities a thorough workout. Actors enter role-playing game scenarios, where breaking character triggers plot-based punishments, ranging from scrubbing chamber pots to taking a trip to prison. Singers enter monster-fighting escape scenarios, where they fight monsters with their voices. One wrong note and the monsters catch up, leading to a game-over ending. Idols enter a singing, dancing, and flying-chess scenario. Each square tests a different skill, and a poor performance earns them a socially mortifying dare. Of course, between rounds there are classes taught by famous instructors from China and abroad, past and present. Players can choose for themselves whether to improve their skills. Jiang Ji: They can decide for themselves whether to go to class. I’m not a monster :) Under pressure from the scenarios, actors rapidly improve their delivery, voice, appearance, and movement. Singers’ vocals and musicality suddenly surge, while idols’ singing, dancing, and rapping skills shoot up. Gradually, onlookers notice that an entertainment industry that used to be dull has suddenly been shaken up by a company called Luming Entertainment. Its boss, Jiang Ji, is very young, but every artist who passes through his hands sees their abilities soar. After joining Luming Entertainment: A mediocre singing-and-dancing group starts performing knife-sharp choreography?! Their stage presence is so powerful you can’t look away. A “studio singer” turns out to be rock-solid singing a cappella on a variety show! They perform twenty songs in a row at a concert without showing the slightest sign of fatigue. A little flower with tired, formulaic acting comes alive. She seems like a completely different person in her new drama, and later even wins Best Actress at the Television Awards! Even the production crews improve. Costumes, makeup, props, and sets are natural and painstakingly researched; the plots are coherent and well-constructed; and the camerawork makes viewers feel like they’re right there. Audiences fall into a treasure trove of quality content and couldn’t be happier. Viewer A: Hehe, is the domestic entertainment industry about to... bounce back from rock bottom? Get up and try again? They shower praise on Luming Entertainment and the man behind it, Jiang Ji, calling him a conscientious capitalist and the top man in the entertainment industry. Company boss, mastermind behind the scenes, lunatic agent Jiang Ji gives a calm smile. “It’s dark out. Time to... start class.” Bonus scene: Gu Zhiqing is a notorious oddball in the entertainment industry. He cares about nothing but acting and lives like an android. People think his ideal type must be a script, and that even one day away from the set would be like a fairy descending to earth and getting sullied by the mundane world. Jiang Ji is a newly acclaimed top agent, a modern-day talent scout who can make anyone he chooses a star. He’s strikingly beautiful and forceful in his work, and people think he’s a die-hard careerist. Everyone thinks these two will never have anything to do with each other. Until #Gu Zhiqing Jiang Ji Romance# trends. In the video, Gu Zhiqing’s face is alive with displeasure as he clings tightly to Jiang Ji, sulking while rubbing his cheek against him over and over. Jiang Ji pats Gu Zhiqing’s back. After a while, he takes him by the nape and pulls him up, then whispers a few words with an indulgent smile and gently kisses his eyes. Onlookers: Gu Zhiqing, the android, can actually look so full of life? And Jiang Ji, the careerist, can be this tender and soft? Onlookers: This is such a strange vibe... Let me take another look.
