[Genshin Impact] After Abandoning Morax

Dan Zhi is terrible at games. His favorite thing to do is press every button at once.

On a friend's recommendation, he started playing a game called Liyue City Builder Simulator, where he played a frail healer who couldn't fend for himself and was left with only a sliver of health after the slightest treatment.

Dan Zhi loved using [Greater Healing] to solve everything at once, then promptly coughing up blood. "...I just wanted the effects to kick in faster."

Who could stand seeing a tiny gap in a teammate's health bar? Dan Zhi was a medic, and he couldn't stand it for a second.

With his help (and spending), Liyue flourished at incredible speed.

A flood is coming? Don't worry, I'll use Greater Healing.

The Dream God can't escape a beautiful dream? Don't worry, I'll use Greater Healing.

Havria, who can produce salt, is dead? Don't worry, I'll use Resurrection.

Inside the cave where Havria died, Dan Zhi started coughing up blood like crazy. In front of his huge health bar, the number was a miserable [1].

He immediately hid in the arms of Morax, the one who could take the most hits, and urged him, "Quick, put up a shield for me!"

Morax: ...

The Geo Archon, who was always gentle with Dan Zhi, showed him his ruthless side when they got back.

"Still want to use it?"

Dan Zhi: (Still wants to, but too scared) "I won't, I won't... Can you let me sleep...?"

Later, Dan Zhi quickly cleared the game. After looking at thriving Liyue and all the maxed-out stats, he clicked uninstall.

Until one day, after retiring from the Dan Ding Division, he went traveling and stumbled into a world like an eggshell. He happened to save a dragon and was invited to become a traveling companion.

Dan Zhi gladly accepted. He arrived somewhere that seemed a little familiar and met a group of people who seemed familiar, though he couldn't remember them.

Sorry, we Xianzhou natives live too long, so our memories are... a little poor.

Still, that certain guest advisor over there was quite his type. He wouldn't mind staying for seventy or eighty years and having a happy romance with the gentleman.

[Reading Guide]

1. This is a standalone what-if branch of The Rock God Husband Passed Away After Reincarnation. You can read this without having read the other story.

2. All the game stats are made up. Feel free to point out any mistakes.

3. Everyone in Liyue gets a happy ending. The protagonist saves Havria purely so she can produce salt without using any resources.

4. Lots of author-made settings, and the characters may be out of character. The protagonist in this story is an ordinary Xianzhou native. As long as he's in good spirits, he can live a long time. There is no angst, and the plot is light: pure sweetness.

5. The Xianzhou plot is barely touched on. The early part is the game, and the later part is a crossover.

6. It probably won't be very long, with an expected length of around 200,000 characters.
