Rags to Riches, Starting as a Kitchen Maid

Su Zhihan transmigrates into the body of a poor family's daughter in the Great Xia Dynasty.

Her father is a gambler, her mother is timid, and the rest of the clan are eyeing them covetously. The only person in the family who could stand up for them, her older brother, has been missing for six months. Everyone says he's dead.

What a hellish start!

Su Zhihan racks her brains and comes up with the first version of her plan to help an ordinary family prosper. Just as she's about to take the first step, she gets one piece of good news and one piece of bad news.

Good news: Her gambling father is dead.

Bad news: Her mother has sold herself and Su Zhihan into servitude.

Su Zhihan: "..."

Is this hellish start never going to end?

After taking stock of her situation, Su Zhihan revises her plan and comes up with the second version: a maid's career advancement plan. But when the eldest daughter of the household gets married, she discovers that she's transmigrated into a book!

In three years, a prince's residence will be seized for treason.

And the Marquis Zhongyong's household, where she now lives, is about to face utter ruin!

Su Zhihan: "..."

So it starts out of hell and ends up in hell, huh?

Grinding her teeth and racking her brains, Su Zhihan revises her plan once more, creating the third version: a maid's guide to buying her freedom and making a fortune in ancient times. She settles on her goal and prepares to give it everything she's got!
