What Could Noble Consort Gao Possibly Be Up to? (Qing Dynasty Transmigration)

Only after being named a Side Consort did Gao Zhenru realize that she had accidentally transmigrated into a book and become the villainous Noble Consort Gao. What she needed to do now was keep acting spoiled and willful, relying on the Prince and Princess Consort's affection to run rampant through the inner court and even the imperial harem. She had to provoke endless complaints from the imperial consorts, breed resentment in the Empress Dowager and Empress, and make the Emperor hate her, all to set off the heroine's gentleness and kindness. In the end, she was supposed to be reprimanded and kept in the palace, where she would die of an epidemic. Once the plot was over, she could finish her task and leave the small world. After making sure that her death wouldn't implicate the Gao family and would actually help them rise even higher, Gao Zhenru readily agreed and cheerfully began her work as a villainous supporting character. Come to think of it, what exactly does a favored consort do? Gao Zhenru thought about it and realized she could just carry on as usual. She'd be a "diligent" model favorite consort: brazen, arrogant, extravagant and waste...ful. Ahem, she shouldn't waste things, should she? And so Gao Zhenru smoothly became a Noble Consort. When she reached the age at which she was supposed to die, she realized something was wrong. Why was she still alive and kicking? Where was the heroine? How had the heroine just disappeared? Gao Zhenru was both frustrated and anxious, and grew visibly haggard. Then she noticed that something was strange throughout the entire harem. The Emperor: "The Noble Consort looks haggard. I can neither eat nor sleep for worrying about her." The Empress Dowager, Empress, and imperial consorts: "Who dares bully our Noble Consort?!" Wei Huaixue knew that she was the heroine of a Qing-dynasty transmigration novel. All she had to do was be gentle, considerate, and understanding, and she would win over the Emperor, Empress, and even the Empress Dowager, all of whom were driven to distraction by the troublesome Noble Consort. Then she'd rise through the ranks to become a Noble Consort, Imperial Noble Consort, Empress, and even Empress Dowager. But she waited and waited, and that wretched Noble Consort still hadn't died. Even the plot had twisted into something she couldn't make sense of! Please note: 1. A fantasy version of the Great Qing. The timeline will be adjusted to suit the plot. 2. It's been a long time since I wrote a pampered-by-everyone story, and I just want to write a purely happy one. ^^ Theme: When life is good, make the most of it
