[Refined Scoundrel Who Falls for Beauty at First Sight Top × Sly, Unhinged Bottom Who Falls in Love Over Time]
Lu Shaozhuo is widely regarded as a perfect gentleman: refined, warm, modest, and courteous.
That is, until he meets Ji Chen...
Ji Chen's opinion of him is:
He's got a terrible temper, but he's good-looking.
Lu Shaozhuo can't stand that Ji fellow.
It's bad enough that he likes reading such indecent things, but he also loves teasing people.
On top of that, he's always sticking his nose into other people's business. A bona fide refined scoundrel.
Lu Shaozhuo shoots him a glare.
Ji Chen smiles helplessly. "Sweetheart, I'm a military man. You're expecting a bit too much of me."

If he took too long, he would usually earn a reward from Yuan Jin:
For instance, a shove to the shoulder that sent him tumbling onto the rug, followed by that jade-like foot stepping onto his chest...
[Reading Guide]
1. Fictional setting, don't overthink it.
2. It may be a little long and includes some political intrigue, but nothing too brain-racking. The author's brain isn't up to it either (not really).
3. Both are unhinged, and the bottom is more so, but he's NOT a yandere!
4. Part of a series.
5. The main story has a tragic ending!
