Rebuild the Han Dynasty as Empress

Liu Wan transmigrated into a newborn this time, and by all appearances, she had drawn an excellent hand:

She was descended from the Han imperial house, born into a noble family with a harmonious household and extraordinary talent. Her parents, adoptive father, and elders from every corner cherished her like the apple of their eye.

However, she had transmigrated to the final years of the Western Jin, decades after the Han dynasty fell.

The Five Barbarians' uprising had already begun. The Xiongnu had set fire to Chang'an, the emperor was humiliated in enemy hands, the land was shattered, and the people lay in misery.

Her father, Liu Kun, was holding on to the last patch of Han Chinese territory in the north, surrounded by foreign tribes. He was about to meet his death with the resolve of a national hero.

With the realm in ruins, who was to blame?

Now that Liu Wan had regained her memories, she had only one thing to say: every single official in the court deserved to be nailed to history's pillar of shame.

And so, while the people fled south, she headed north alone.

Starting by recruiting refugees into her army and recovering Yuzhou, she would go on to destroy the Xiongnu, execute Shi Le, pacify the Xianbei, restore both capitals, and sweep the land clean of the barbarians.

Since the Jin ruler was unjust and unworthy of the Son of Heaven's throne, she would restore the Han dynasty intact!

A little scene:

On the eve of Liu Wan's enthronement, everyone was urgently discussing the reign title she was about to adopt.

Liu Kun: Chongguang! Xuanguang! Mingguang! Why are they all about light? Because you are a ray of light in my life. (A corny line from your dear old dad.jpg)

Zu Ti: A northern expedition runs in our souls. What about titles like Crushing the Barbarians, Slaying the Rebels, Breaking the Enemy, or Unifying All Under Heaven? They have perfect meanings.

Xun Guan: A four-character reign title isn't out of the question. Your Majesty has restored the Han four times, so why not name it after that?

Zhang Bin: You could call it Peaceful and Prosperous Age. It sounds both peaceful and prosperous, a good omen.

Liu Wan: ???
