[Upcoming story: The Top-Tier Star Starts Out Hated by the Entire Internet [Entertainment Industry]. Your support is welcome!] An Rufeng was hard to get close to. Quan Zhilong had to work hard just to get into her life. Once they became close, the master of push-and-pull, Quan Zhilong, couldn’t help testing the waters: “I have a friend who’s fallen for someone, but she isn’t interested in him. What do you think he should do?” “He really likes her? Doesn’t want to give up?” Quan Zhilong nodded. “Then he should start by becoming very, very good friends with her.” Quan Zhilong wasn’t convinced. “What good would that do? They wouldn’t be dating!” An Rufeng poured him a glass of wine and went on: “They need to become really, really close friends. The kind of friends who couldn’t possibly be any closer. “Then your friend can use her feelings for him to threaten her with suicide and make her become his girlfriend. “If their friendship is deep enough, your friend can even threaten suicide to make her marry him.” “What?!” Quan Zhilong’s eyes widened. Seeing that he didn’t believe her, An Rufeng calmly said, “That’s what my ex-fiancé and I did. It works, so your friend can give it a try.” “Shibal!” Quan Zhilong couldn’t help swearing. Heartbroken over what she had gone through, he exclaimed angrily, “What a bastard! How could your ex-fiancé treat you like that?” An Rufeng glanced at him. “I threatened to kill myself.” Quan Zhilong: “…” Quan Zhilong immediately changed his tune. “I knew your ex-fiancé was a bastard! How could he be so blind as to make you hurt yourself before he’d agree to be with you?” Then he calmly stressed, “He really is a bastard!” Quan Zhilong sounded perfectly normal, but his heart was aching. This time, it was jealousy that hurt: he was jealous that he wasn’t the person An Rufeng had once loved with such fervor and obsession. His gaze fell on An Rufeng as she quietly savored her wine, and he became thoughtful. Did she seem like she didn’t care much about this sort of thing? …Whatever. He’d start by becoming very, very good friends with An Rufeng. Time Traveler VS Superstar GD P.S. Content warnings: 1. The moral standards of the leads are as described in the blurb.
