[Showbiz] The Rules of Possessiveness

The day she moved into the Cheongdam-dong villa, Yin Zaixi stood in the middle of its luxurious yet empty lobby with her luggage. Her shoes were a stark contrast to the expensive furnishings around her.

She held her slender back straight, wearing an innocent smile on her pretty face as she accepted the scrutiny of those around her.

Beautiful, poor, hardworking, and strangely perfect.

"So this is your new little sister? She's gorgeous."

The second floor, with its European-style decor, overlooked the entire lobby.

The man surrounded by admirers rested his arms on the railing. His casual stance couldn't hide the air of privilege and defiance in his bones, nor the sharpness in his eyes and brows.

"Little sister?" he murmured, then gave a cold laugh. "Want her? She's yours."

Yin Zaixi looked up, and their gazes met.

Unlike in the movie, at this point he was only mean-mouthed. He hadn't yet turned dark and gone crazy.

Fine. We stay out of each other's way. Yin Zaixi got it.

But he clearly didn't.

Yin Zaixi breathed.

Quan Zhilong: She's using her beauty to seduce me.

They lived under the same roof, so running into each other was inevitable.

Quan Zhilong: Was she waiting for me on purpose?

His fantasies shattered the night Yin Zaixi started dating someone. A joke he'd tossed out casually that day became: "I like Zaixi. I want to marry her."

Zaixi. Quan Zhilong toyed with the lighter in his hand, his heart stirring while his expression stayed perfectly calm. "Does she like you?"

"Yeah."

"Well, isn't that..." Quan Zhilong lowered his voice, a faint glow of fire reflected in his pupils. "Too bad."

He liked Yin Zaixi too.

That night, he broke into Yin Zaixi's room and pinned the hand she had on the door, forcefully slipping his fingers between hers. "Break up with him. I'll be your boyfriend."
