The Only Daughter Mermaid Is the Darling of the Entertainment Industry

Yu Yu is a little mermaid.

Her biggest problem isn’t that she can’t go ashore. It’s that her mom is a hopeless romantic.

Her mother cries at the drop of a hat, filling the house with pearls until there’s nowhere left to lie down. Worse, every time she falls in love, she plucks one of her prettiest scales and gives it away.

Yu Yu has had enough. She decides to go ashore and find the irresponsible father who abandoned them.

To find him, she enters a reality talent show, and her self-introduction blows up across the internet:

“I’m a mermaid. I’m three hundred years old, and I’m here to find my dad.”

Netizens:

[Pretty face, unclear intelligence.]

[This is a talent show, not a family-reunion show.]

[So full of tricks. Woman, you’ve got my attention.]

Then she opens her mouth to sing.

The whole internet falls for her.

After becoming famous overnight, Yu Yu discovers something even more terrifying.

Men from all over the world keep showing up, insisting they’ve heard that song before.

And there are five of them.

Yu Yu falls silent.

Just how many scales did her mother give away?

Theme: Protect marine life, and don’t let her down.
