The Dragon's Lair Won't Let the Human Professor Leave

Tao Xianjian, a geology professor, was rational, gentle, understated, and strong-willed. All these qualities suited her perfectly.

On her birthday, she was hired by the Geological Bureau to survey the desert wastelands of the northwest. She accidentally entered a cave, and deep inside the desolate, frigid, golden-lit cavern, she saw a golden dragon shining brilliantly as it lay atop a heap of gold and jewels.

The light nearly blinded Tao Xianjian.

"Who are you?"

"Are you an offering sent to me?" The dragon's voice came from all directions, echoing in Tao Xianjian's mind.

"No, I wandered in by mistake. I'll leave now." The word "offering" made Tao Xianjian's scalp tingle. She replied calmly, then immediately tried to leave.

She searched the dragon's cave for a long time but couldn't find even the slightest trace of an exit, so she settled in.

At first, she slept on the cold stone.

Later, the dragon put a rabbit pelt on the stone where she slept.

Later still, the dragon wrapped her in the rabbit pelt and placed her atop a mountain of gold and jewels.

The dragon kissed her. The dragon was a woman.

The Geological Bureau reported that Professor Tao Xianjian had gone missing while surveying in the northwest and asked for help. The news made the headlines.

At first, the two dragons living in the city didn't think much of it, assuming it was just another news story.

Then Professor Tao Xianjian's photo was released.

They went to the northwest at once and ordered their younger sister to let her go.

They found their sister dressing the professor and combing her hair. Well, here we go again.
