Falling in Love with the North American She-Wolf Queen

After losing a war between wolf packs, Mulin, a subadult giant forest wolf born in the black spruce swamps of the Yukon, escaped from the great forests of northwestern Canada, the taiga. Following the great river valley, she traveled with the migrating caribou to Alaska.

At the time, two major wolf packs in Alaska were at war. Mulin watched for three days and two nights.

She saw with her own eyes as the male alpha of one pack was killed in battle, leaving behind only a beautiful and dangerous female alpha, Shuangya, and her four daughters and two sons.

Mulin licked her fangs. What was she waiting for?

Drive off the males. Keep the females.

Shuangya, the strongest wolf in this river valley territory, was hers!

The young female wolf Xuezhou traveled south from the Arctic tundra in search of a place to survive, arriving in the Alaskan river valley forest.

It was a year of abundant prey. The female alpha Shanlan led her pack north from the Rocky Mountains, reaching the edge of the Alaskan river valley forest.

Xuezhou remembered her mother telling her that wolf packs were formed when solitary males and females bred and made a home together.

But somehow, the moment she saw Shanlan, she felt they were meant to be a family.
