The Little Demon Star of the World-Destroying BOSS

After being adopted by his godfather, Little Scorpion unexpectedly discovers that he is actually a cannon-fodder NPC in an ability-based game.

According to the game's lore, his godfather is the villainous Big Boss of an evil organization bent on destroying the world. He is ruthless and mentally unstable, bent on creating a new world and willing to do anything to achieve his goals. He likes to treat everyone as a chess piece, and he's a fickle madman.

And Little Scorpion is merely a little assistant by his godfather's side, responsible for passing along orders. He's insignificant to the plot, dies without a sound, and no one cares.

Little Scorpion is shocked!

Not only can he travel all over the place on the organization's dime, he can also throw his weight around and swagger about, doing whatever he likes while riding roughshod over all kinds of elite bosses. How could he possibly play such a fun character card in an ordinary way?! What a waste! Such a waste!

Little Scorpion happily joins the villainous organization and thrives there. Today he plays tricks on the villains, tomorrow he bullies the protagonist. When he's in a bad mood, he blows up a base. He wreaks equal havoc on everyone, repeatedly pushing their limits and courting death wherever he goes. Yet he's also a master at acting sweet and well-behaved. They grind their teeth in anger, but can do nothing about him, and can only keep putting up with it.

Though he can't see the game interface as an NPC, Little Scorpion sees their hate values constantly going up over their heads: +1 +1 +1...

With his hate value maxed out, he promptly follows the plot and fakes his death to escape before they can put a kill order on him.

Unexpectedly, the godfather who should have treated him as a pawn and mercilessly abandoned him, just as in the plot, risks his life to save him and searches for him like a madman.

Even the evil organization and the protagonist's group, all of whom he has tormented and who should hate him to the bone, now want to save him and raise him.

The villainous godfather, offering a huge reward to find his son: "Had enough fun? It's time to come home. I'll settle accounts with you about all those new dads you've found when we get back. You won't be able to wheedle your way out of it by acting cute this time."

Little Scorpion: ???

Little Scorpion: Wait! Wasn't that hate value going up? How was it actually affection?!

Little Scorpion: Are you all masochists?!

At first, the world-destroying Boss who adopted the little troublemaker thought:

He's just a pawn.

Later, the Boss gritted his teeth as he went to settle accounts with his son, then shouted frantically at his subordinates and archenemies who wanted to become the boy's new dads:

He's my son!
