Wei Wumian, looking utterly seductive, held up a copper-plated oil lamp and asked Qin Guangling enticingly:

"What devout wish would you like fulfilled? The divine will answer your prayer."

Still in high school, Qin Guangling replied with eager anticipation, "I hope my favorite idol can debut soon and become a huge star."

A moment later, the celebrity he liked drove off the road and was carried onto an ambulance, half his body red and half purple.

Wei Wumian was delighted. Fulfilling people's wishes made the oil in his lamp surge.

When Qin Guangling was a senior in high school, Wei Wumian once again held up his copper-plated lamp and asked him, "Mortal, ruled by your desires, what is your wish? The divine will answer your prayer."

Qin Guangling answered cautiously, "I hope my brother, who's in the hospital with an incurable disease, can leave the hospital soon."

The next moment, a fire broke out in the hospital ward, and the patients fled.

Qin Guangling: "..."

His sincere feelings had gone to waste. He might as well trust a dog rather than a god.

Ten years later, Wei Wumian stood before Qin Guangling, still seductive as ever, and asked him the same question.

Qin Guangling looked muscular and full of energy, as though even a ball of tissue by the bed would leap up and call him Daddy. But in truth, reality had disappointed him so much that he wanted nothing, and he planned to remain celibate for life.

Qin Guangling: "..."

After deceiving him so many times, he still expected him to believe him? Did he think he was stupid?

Wei Wumian: "..."

How could Qin Guangling want nothing? Wei Wumian had to find a way to make all that lamp oil inside him pour out uncontrollably. It all belonged to him.
