Use a wooden bucket to catch water, knock down the chandelier, chop off Mom's head with an axe, and shoot Dad's heart with a hunting rifle. Dodge Mom after she turns into a zombie, and escape Dad at midnight. Save your little sister from being crushed by the chandelier, save her from being eaten by the toilet, and save her from being strangled by a hemp rope.
Trapped in an endless cycle of curses, Tabby tries over and over to save her family, only to kill them again and again. She falls asleep in a numb haze and opens her eyes again just as numbly. But this time, she escapes that house.
The students at Jujutsu High have much the same opinion of Tabby.
Panda: "Someone even better at talking about true love than Yuta has appeared! This is a woman with six special-grade vengeful parasitic cursed spirits!"
Maki: "A worthy opponent."
Megumi Fushiguro: "Strong."
But Satoru Gojo sees something different: beneath her beautiful exterior, a heart beating wildly.
"She's a real lunatic in every sense of the word~ A little crazy girl who might become as strong as me someday."
For Tabby, the memories of the endless cycle, day after day, of repeatedly raising her weapon to kill her family will haunt her for the rest of her life. But in the end, they are still family, the people who live in the same house as her.
That night, no one will ever forget the girl standing on the roof, axe in hand, smiling as she spreads her arms.
"Behold a true Night Parade of One Hundred Demons. And I mean, there are way more than a hundred."
Tabby, the female lead, is the protagonist of the horror game House. In the game, the heroine's family and their house are cursed, trapping them in a loop. Tabby tries every possible way to save her family, and in the process, kills them countless times. So Tabby isn't antisocial. She loves her family.
Since I couldn't find names for any of the characters besides the little sister, Melody, I'll give the mother and father names in the story.
Content warnings:
1. In my view, Tabby isn't fundamentally antisocial, but after going through so many loops and killing so many people, her mind can't be judged by ordinary standards. In short, the girl is a little messed up. (And, of course, the same goes for her family after they all become cursed spirits.)
2. Tabby is extremely strong. Her physical skills do develop over time, but not by much. After all, she's fought all kinds of monsters alone in the loops so many times, so how could her physical skills be poor? Apart from that, she's basically top-tier from the start.
3. The little sister may have feelings that go a little beyond familial love, but they're one-sided.
4. I couldn't get anywhere with the story I was writing next door, so I started this one instead. It won't have a complicated plot; the main point is to indulge myself. I really like the idea of parasitic cursed spirits, and Tabby's setup works perfectly for it. So this is a story where the author lets loose with her personal tastes.
