Shinichi Refuses to Follow the Plot

Planning to start this one next, currently building up a backlog

[Pairing: All x Shinichi, mainly the Police Academy group x Shinichi]

Ever since he was born, Shinichi had a library in his head. Before he ever read Sherlock Holmes, the first things he sampled were all kinds of stories from Detective Conan fanfiction.

Stories of love and hate between Japanese Public Security and the FBI, stories of love and hate between the FBI and their nemesis, the Organization, stories of love and hate between the Phantom Thief and the detective...

The stories deeply shook young Shinichi, and left him with a complex about romance.

He didn't completely believe what the stories said, but when he was seven, he met Akai, who was about to join the FBI. He realized the stories in his head might not be entirely fictional.

Which meant...

Officer Hagiwara was going to die soon?!

Shinichi listed all the plot points overnight and realized that almost everyone in the romance stories in his head ended up dead. He clenched his fists with a stern expression. This must be a trial the world has set for Sherlock Holmes's disciple! I'll save everyone and become the next great detective!

Wait, why are your romantic storylines different from the ones in the novels?

Why am I the one getting confessed to?

Everyone who has spent time with the savior of the Japanese police has the same reaction: The savior himself is even more over-the-top than his title, seriously!

What do you mean, you can deduce things, defuse bombs, shoot, speak n languages, and fly a helicopter... Do you remember you're a kid?!

Reader's guide:

· Shinichi has his childhood personality from the original: a cocky, fierce, tsundere kid.

· This is probably a short, comedic story with a little plot.

· Pairing: All x Shinichi, mainly the Police Academy group x Shinichi, no BG/GB content. No romance when he's a kid. The main story has an open ending, with different endings in the extras.

· Little Shinichi meets everyone early and takes part in the Organization's operations. He's read all kinds of fanfiction while not knowing any of them, so he may think things like, “Aren't you two a couple?” But there are no side pairings in this story. Please don't post about other pairings in the comments.

Theme: You must take your fate into your own hands
