The Gloriously Fake Police Life of Dark Scotland

Someone once described Scotch as the textbook tragic villain: beautiful, strong, and doomed.

Orphaned and kidnapped as a child, he murdered his master and seized power as a teenager. His ending would be one of betrayal and abandonment, defeated and killed by a righteous police officer.

Scotch didn't care. He simply made himself guilty of murdering his master.

So what if he was beautiful, strong, and doomed? So what if he was a villain? That was better than putting his life in someone else's hands.

Until one day, he had a dream.

In the dream, his life was filled with beauty. He had a respected and beloved older brother, a childhood friend with whom he shared everything, and several dear friends who stood by him through thick and thin.

He stood in the light, treated tenderly by the world. Even though he ultimately died before dawn, he had been deeply loved by many.

His life had been deliberately derailed by others, led step by step into darkness, all to make him a tragic villain who would be killed by a certain police officer's own hand.

He should have had a bright life.

After waking, Scotch was dazed for a long time.

He thought that murdering his master might have been the worst decision he'd ever made. He should have forced that man to tell him more.

Those words hadn't been a curse on him. They had been a description of the life ahead of him.

He would die, but he wasn't afraid of death.

He just wondered if there was truly no way for him to have that kind of life anymore.

He didn't want to be beautiful, tragic, and strong. He just wanted to experience the life his other self had lived. He wanted to become

Morofushi Hiromitsu.

I don't care about being beautiful, strong, and tragic. Just give me back the life I was supposed to have.

#Black-side Scotch, but not entirely black.

#Lots of personal headcanons, and there will be OOC.

#This isn't an anti-Scotch story. I only chose this title because I'm terrible at coming up with names.

Probably a short black-side Scotch story I'll start writing soon.
