After Furuya Got Bound to QB

After making a contract with QB, Furuya finally made up for the regret of his life.

The two bomb disposal officers from the Mobile Investigation Unit became regulars at Café Poirot, often bringing Officer Date from the Criminal Affairs Department along to tease and needle him.

His childhood friend, whose identity had not been exposed, sat in a corner of Poirot, watching them with a smile.

This had been the ending Furuya was most satisfied with.

But the sudden arrival of a black-haired, straight-haired middle school girl shattered this peaceful life.

"I'm Homura Akemi."

She introduced herself.

"Someone asked me to give this to you."

On the first page of the rather worn diary, his name was written in Roman letters. The words there tore through this false sense of happiness:

Please stop the me who hasn't been completely deceived by QB yet.

The handwriting was his own.

"Our contract was that I'd help you save them. But I never promised they wouldn't die again."

"And don't you think the despair energy released when someone you've saved with such difficulty dies again over some trivial matter is comparable to that of a magical girl?"

Madoka Magica + Conan. Zero isn't the one at the center of the time loops; Homura is the one looping.
