The Tool Person in My Fate Ledger Ascended to Immortality

The female elder of Tianjuan Sect, who had flouted the law and all propriety by seizing one of her own direct disciples for herself, was dead. She died at the hands of her favorite male disciple.

Everyone said that a shameless woman like her was sure to be cast into the Avici Hell after death.

But no one expected that as the female elder breathed her last, golden light would descend from the heavens. Her merit was so great that she ascended to immortality in broad daylight!

Si Yao was that shameless female elder who had ascended through her merit. Still dazed, she stepped out of the Ascension Pool and took a look around. Good heavens! Why did all those immortal faces outside the pool, men and women alike, look so familiar?

They were all people she had loved in each of her past lives, but could never have.

Was Heaven taking pity on her and planning to give her all those unattainable loves at last?

The Star Lord of Fate had recently run into a troublesome problem. The all-purpose tool person in his Book of Fate, who was tasked with helping immortals undergo tribulations, had suddenly ascended in broad daylight.

Without this versatile assistant, he felt his inspiration run dry. He couldn't write even a single fate scroll.

Worse, every immortal who had once descended to the mortal realm to undergo a tribulation and had a fate scroll written by him owed that assistant a favor.

With a thick stack of favors owed in hand, Si Yao swaggered around Heaven. One day, an old habit took hold and she became so brazen that she even dared to flirt with the Jade Emperor.

The Star Lord of Fate hurried to the Hall of Miraculous Mists to apologize. When he saw the greedy look in her eyes as she gazed at the Jade Emperor, he knew trouble was brewing. He suddenly remembered the first words he always wrote whenever he composed her fate:

"She loves stealing other people's beloveds."

In an instant, every immortal couple in Heaven was on edge.

Fortunately, the fate scroll had a second half. Together, the lines read:

"She loves stealing other people's beloveds, but is doomed to fail."

Si Yao: Just you wait. I'll hack you to pieces, you malicious stepmother of an author!
