One More Second of Heartbeat

Years later, Wen Xia saw Zhe Xue again.

In the dim, silent stairwell,

she had just found an excuse to turn down a suitor: "I'd never date a pro gamer, unless it was my husband, Sleet!"

She turned around

Sleet himself, nicknamed "the male Daji of the modern esports scene," was leaning against the wall at the corner behind her. Who knew how long he'd been listening? Amusement filled his peach-blossom eyes. "Date me? Bold of you to dream."

Wen Xia hesitated for two seconds, then said stiffly, "Sorry, I'm a little face-blind. Who are you?"

Zhe Xue raised an eyebrow and casually curled his lips at her, letting out a scoff. "What, you don't even recognize your own husband?"

"..."

I dare not look into your eyes, afraid that one more second will make my heart flutter.

tips:

Both leads are each other's first love. I won't answer questions about this anymore.

Neither lead is perfect. They both have flaws.
