The Heroine Wants to Break the Curse

Yunzhi had a dream when she was ten years old.

She dreamed she was the innocent, fragile heroine of a novel, surrounded by countless male leads and supporting male characters. She would face one hardship after another with them, eventually discerning their true feelings and getting a happy ending with the male lead.

She thought it was just a dream, but everything in it came true.

At the same time, a dialogue box appeared before her eyes. If she didn't follow the plot, she'd keep getting reset and have to start over.

Damn it, she would break this ridiculous plot curse!

After being reset countless times, Yunzhi discovered a loophole.

As long as a major character performed an action in the dialogue box that was enclosed in single quotation marks, she could advance the plot.

Taking advantage of this loophole, Yunzhi began pulling off all sorts of stunts:

A hero saving a beauty became a beauty saving a hero,

The male lead showing off his talents became the female lead showing off her skills,

The helpless, vulnerable heroine became the male lead groveling at her feet

Through Yunzhi's series of maneuvers, the plot became completely unrecognizable.

A sweet campus romance turned into an empowering story about a strong female lead.

Yunzhi had this to say: We strong women should be the leading ladies of our own lives!

Yunzhi noticed that there were always some strange people around her.

Her deskmate, who slept through class every day yet still ranked near the top on every exam,

Her handsome roommate, who acted mysterious all day and was nowhere to be found,

The prodigy who won all kinds of awards after studying art for less than three years

Later, she discovered that this world wasn't just a sweet little school romance. It was a hodgepodge formed from all kinds of novels merged together.

It turned out that this world had not only dumbed-down supporting characters and crazed fans, but also superpowered people, monsters, a hidden world...

Yunzhi: This seems even worse.

But I think I've found a way to escape my predetermined fate.
