After the Life Save File Failed: The Beloved One

Chu Shanhui has a secret: she has a save point that lets her reload her life. She cheats with the power to reload, crushing everyone she hates or envies beneath her feet and gradually attaining the perfect life she designed for herself. And yet, she still can’t feel happy... On her final reload, she returns from the age of twenty-seven to seventeen. Just as she prepares to start over, she discovers... her save point no longer works... The man she had used her save-point power to erase from her life comes back, clinging to her like a curse. What is she supposed to do now? Content warning: First-person narration, unconventional web-novel style, and coercive possessive behavior [emphasis added] (please fully understand what those four characters mean). This is not a feel-good novel, and it will probably be very frustrating. Every character, male or female, main or supporting, has flaws. If you insist on judging them morally, then none of them are good people. This is a free story, so please don’t tell me how to write it. Suggestions are welcome, but don’t be condescending. Nobody cares what you want to read. If you have such strong opinions, I suggest writing your own story. There’s a male supporting character with a major role who is not a virgin. He was the heroine’s fiance in her previous life, but he isn’t the male lead, so don’t pay him too much attention. You’re giving him too much credit. If you post unfounded rumors about content warnings in the comments, don’t feel wronged when your comment gets deleted. Nobody owes you anything. I started writing without an outline, so sometimes I change earlier details to make later plot points work. I’ve updated the main text, but I can’t change pirated copies. I’m only responsible for the official version. Theme: Only by letting go of obsession can we see the true meaning of life.
