Synopsis

(Revisions and updates at irregular intervals.)

After witnessing her brother embracing the person she has a crush on, Luo Xu awakens to the truth.

She realizes that she's merely a cannon-fodder female supporting character in a danmei novel.

In the original story, after learning the truth, she chooses to stay away from them, but still meets the inevitable death reserved for cannon fodder.

But Luo Xu doesn't think she'll choose to run away as she did in the original story.

No matter what happens, she will never be the one who runs away.

A vow must be kept.

He said he would never abandon her.

Content warnings:

* Turning a gay man straight; no blood relation (different from the original version); niche preferences; written purely for love of the story.

* Second-person narration.

* None of the protagonists are perfect.

Theme: Treasure the present.
