The World of Famine for the Dragon, Phoenix, and Pig

[IMPORTANT: This is a non-canonical fanfic with a crack pairing. If you don't like the ship, read with caution.]

After dying, Ying Zheng awoke in the wilderness and discovered that he had acquired two teammates from later eras, each with a distinct style.

One teammate had the nickname "Piggy" over his head. He was strong and good at archery, but had a weakness for beautiful women...

The other teammate had the nickname "Second Phoenix" over his head. He was good at both ranged and close combat, but was always led around by Piggy...

And the two of them were always exhausting Ying Zheng.

Looking at the forest blazing beneath the night sky,

Zheng: ...Are you planning to burn yourselves alive too?

Piggy: Ahem... It was an accident, an accident.

Second Phoenix: Ahem, ahem... A mistake, a mistake.

Li Shimin always felt he didn't belong on the team and should be underneath the cart instead, because one of his teammates had been mounted by a pig, and that pig was his other teammate.

Before this, he had always thought Liu Che was joking!

Because giving someone flowers, flower crowns, and all kinds of ore and lumber is totally normal in a cooperative game like this!!!

Zheng: ...

Piggy: ...

During the game, Ying Zheng got hold of a ticket back to reality. The moment he returned, he heard the trio discussing how to use him as an abalone bunker, and angrily came back to life.

What's this? Zhao Gao.

Kill him!

What's this? Hu Hai.

Kill him!

What's this? Li Si.

Kill him... Maybe leave him alive for now.

Content warnings:

1. This is a non-canonical crack-pairing fanfic. The setting is a parallel world, and everything happens in a fictional world. Please don't fact-check it; this novel isn't suited to that.

2. The Don't Starve game includes other historical figures from non-canonical fanfics, but they aren't in the same game world. They can communicate and team up, and there are crossovers with other games and various original elements.

3. The ancestors' skills and talents will be established in the story. There will also be repeated deaths and resurrections. The game world has resurrection gates and all kinds of dangers, so this isn't an invincible power fantasy.

4. The characters were emperors and had harems while alive, but their harems and heterosexual romances are not covered in this novel. They are not all virgins, so readers who require that should avoid this.

5. Many famous historical figures who died in their respective fictional worlds will appear in the game world and team up in all sorts of combinations. There will probably be many pairings, so readers who mind should avoid this.
