The Demon King Builds Infrastructure in Another World

A Great Demon King who had just retired and planned to enjoy life was forcibly bound to another world by a little creature calling itself the Godhood System. He became a young noble lord named Philia Laites. Philia: ...I just want to laze around, eat, drink, and have fun every day. I don't want to become a god, thanks. System: No, you do! Philia: No, I don't. * But after enrolling in a magic academy, Philia discovered that all her roommates were masters of secret identities, each one the most dazzling person in any crowd. As the saying goes, when the city gates catch fire, the fish in the moat suffer. Philia felt she was that fish. She only wanted to keep a low profile and recruit people to help her study the magic net, so she could enjoy an even more comfortable life of doing nothing. Yet people with rocks for brains kept showing up to provoke her. Former Great Demon King, retired from the Infinite Flow: Philia: A benevolent smile.jpg * Looking at the backward magical world, its barren entertainment scene, and its impoverished commoners, the Great Demon King decided to roll up her sleeves and get to work. Short on talent? No problem. She's at a magic academy, with a steady stream of promising students to choose from. Short on money? No problem. There are mountains of dragon treasure in the Dragon Realm, just waiting for her. Short on entertainment? No problem. Elves and merfolk can join forces to produce epic films, with top-tier looks and voices like heavenly music. Guaranteed to please. Short on manpower? No problem. Tireless undead are at her disposal, ready to cultivate even the largest tracts of land. Short on wonders? No problem. Dwarves who love forging and construction can build any marvel she wants. With the Great Demon King leading the way, the magic technology tree advanced at breakneck speed. Magic trains sped through the water, magic airships flew through the sky, magic smart devices fit in everyone's hands, and all kinds of useful magic technologies sprang into existence. And once the magic net was successfully developed, communication among all the world's races faced no more barriers. Civilization and lasting peace arrived in this backward magical world.
