I'm starting a new novel! While I'm at it, here's a recommendation for my upcoming novel: The Green Tea Captain Keeps Fighting for Everything (Esports), starring a hilarious, sharp-tongued, smiling fox of a bottom × a jealous, vindictive, green-tea loyal-dog top.
Here's the blurb for this novel:
A beautiful, outwardly cold but inwardly gentle master bottom × a seemingly upright, insane ghostly disciple top
After transmigrating into a book, Tan You becomes the aloof immortal lord who rules White Hall Peak with an iron fist.
The good news: he's got money, power, looks, and strength. The bad news: he's destined to die as a villainous cannon-fodder character in the book.
Before Tan You can even complain about his new identity, a dog's bark inexplicably binds him to a self-rescue System. To survive, he has no choice but to complete the mission "Stop the villainous disciple from turning evil."
On his first attempt, Tan You decides to play the part of a kind master and win over his little disciple by filling his wounded heart with care and affection.
But he overdoes it, and his little disciple develops feelings for him! With no other option, Tan You fakes his death and tries another approach.
He never expects his little disciple to turn evil because of his death, causing the mission to fail.
On his second attempt, Tan You feels a pang of emotion when he sees his poor little disciple again. After learning his lesson, he decides to be an aloof master this time. He deliberately keeps the disciple at a distance, only coming to his aid when he's in danger.
The result: the little disciple resents Tan You's "favoritism," gradually grows jealous and twisted, then falls in love with him all over again and imprisons him by force. In the end, Tan You has no choice but to use his old trick and fake his death to escape.
Just as expected, the disciple is driven over the edge and turns evil. The mission fails again.
On his third attempt, Tan You decides to give up and let things happen. Whatever! Let it all be destroyed! This kid is a sneaky old schemer and impossible to teach! Doing the mission means he only gets to live ten years, while skipping it lets him live twenty! Whoever wants to do this mission can do it!
But the disciple notices Tan You's change in attitude and keeps stirring up trouble to get his attention. He even comes up to Tan You like a male ghost, telling him he remembers the first two attempts...
This mission is impossible. One day, Tan You thinks as he holds his aching back, at this rate, he might be the one who turns evil, not his little disciple.
P.S. Except for the line "One song intoxicates a thousand, one dance leaves a figure like a startled swan," all the poems in the book are quotations!

Su Qi is known by the nickname "The Smiling Fox of the Esports World." At one offline event, he strode past Shang Xianqing with a dark expression, and the whole internet has since declared the two bitter enemies.
During the transfer window, Su Qi gets physically retired by the substitute who injures his right hand. His former team then kicks him out and sells him to a newly registered amateur team. When he walks through the door, he discovers the new captain is none other than his "mortal enemy," Shang Xianqing!
Su Qi's inner monologue:
[Oh no, does he really think I see him as my mortal enemy?]
[He's so handsome.]
[With his character, he probably wouldn't deliberately target me, right?]
[He's so handsome.]
[Is it too late to retire now?]
[...He's so handsome.]
But Shang Xianqing simply hands him a cup of coffee and says gently, "My management style is different from Su God’s old team's. I prefer to reason with people and win my teammates over with love."
At the revenge match, the former captain and the substitute who injured Su Qi's right hand put on fake smiles. "Xiao Su, come back next transfer window once your hand's better. This is where you truly belong."
Su Qi smiles sweetly. "Your words have squeezed all the air out of the room. Keep going, let my captain hear some more of your nonsense~"
The former captain is about to blow his top when Shang Xianqing crushes a water bottle and puts on a show of tea-fueled sweetness. "He's so mean! If it were me, I couldn't bear to let Su Su leave. I'd just help you buy the latest gaming gear..."
Su Qi: ...This green tea is shockingly fragrant.
One day, Su Qi finds a collector's edition video called The Best of Su Qi's Comebacks at Shang Xianqing's bedside, along with The Green Tea Top's Guide to Self-Cultivation and Level Ten Tea-Talk on the second shelf of the nightstand.
Just as he's about to run, he runs into Shang Xianqing smiling in the doorway. "Too late to run now~ The whole world knows you're the sharp-tongued little fox I've chased through three hundred matches~"
Theme: Have fun and be happy every day
