But Combustion always writes songs about dusk and autumn.

About the time after the sun sets and before the moon rises.

Fans often ask why in the comments.

When they met in person, the man who showed up was a long-haired uncle who was always carrying a game console and playing wherever he happened to be. He didn't look like a professional.

Could he be a scammer?

But he'd already come all this way, so Chen Xingnuo followed him and practiced for a few days.

He auditioned for an agency and got in.

When he received the acceptance notice, Chen Xingnuo suspiciously glanced at the man beside him. "Did you bribe the interviewer?"

The man was busy opening a Chinese restaurant in Hyrule. Without looking up, he shrugged and said lazily, "I told you, you have talent."

At a work event one day, Chen Xingnuo overheard someone say that Black Cat had recently taken on a student.

He rushed forward. "No way. Didn't he retire?"

Everyone looked at him, then at each other, and dispersed on the spot.

When he got home, Chen Xingnuo dug an old phone number out of his things in the middle of the night.

He called and immediately demanded, "You're coming back? Why didn't you tell me? Didn't you promise you'd tell me the very first thing if you ever came back?"

There was a brief silence.

Then the answer on the phone rang out at the same time as the low voice behind him.

The man said, "If I'd told you back then, you would've called me a scammer and refused to come with me."

Later.

One day, in an empty dressing room backstage at a voice actor meet-and-greet.

Chen Xingnuo, his face bright red, was cornered by Fu Zhenyi.

The man had fixed his hair and shed his usual gloomy air, revealing a handsome face exactly like Black Cat's in the event program.

Chen Xingnuo said, "I-I haven't forgiven you yet!"

Fu Zhenyi looked at him and smiled softly, lowering his eyes.

He bent down slightly and unhurriedly pulled the hand covering the young man's mouth away. His deep, alluring voice was as gentle as coaxing.

"But at least let me see whether it's still swollen, so I know how to make it up to you.

"All right, Nuonuo?"
