Because I Like You

[Younger man]

What would you do if the world ended one day?

Fang Zhili: Go to sleep.

Yan Zhuo: Sleep with Fang Zhili.

Fang Zhili: ...

Fang Zhili is an editor at a magazine in Yunshan. He graduated and got a job, then worked his way up over several years to become editor-in-chief. Everyone else envies how successful he is at such a young age.

Fang Zhili doesn't talk much and is something of a loner. After years on the job, he doesn't have many close friends.

He knows that if his professional skills weren't so good, he probably would have lost this job too.

That's why Fang Zhili can't understand why someone as dazzling as Yan Zhuo, who has everything and seems to live in a completely different world from him, has to circle around him like a puppy every day.

"Why else?" Yan Zhuo whined, hugging his waist. "Obviously, because I like you."

Yan Zhuo was a new intern who joined through spring recruitment. His family was very wealthy, and on his first day at work, he treated everyone at the magazine to Starbucks and Haagen-Dazs ice cream cakes.

He was nice, handsome, and charming, and easily won over all the women, including the cat downstairs.

By chance, Yan Zhuo was assigned to work as Fang Zhili's assistant.

After a month, the relationship between the pair was barely going anywhere. You could even see Yan Zhuo getting scolded by Fang Zhili every morning.

Coworkers: Looks like even Yan Zhuo can't win over Mr. Fang.

Fang Zhili: Maybe I'm being too hard on him...

Yan Zhuo: Ah, he's so cute. I want to kiss him QAQ. No, he's my idol and my boss. (Catches drool.)

*I want to take you to the seaside to watch the sunset, to the mountaintop to watch shooting stars, to fish by a stream, and to make love in a little boat.
