Kill the Auditor

[01]

Who in the world most deserves to be killed?

A vicious murderer?

A two-faced capitalist?

He shook his head and said, "No. An auditor."

[02]

A glamorous career woman died in the street. She was naked, utterly exposed, as if the killer had poured every last bit of malice in the world onto her.

Her daughter cried and demanded answers, but the coroner said, "Miss, your mother froze to death."

The daughter suddenly froze.

She thought of that bitterly cold winter, when so many people had frozen to death.

[03]

A female partner at a prestigious accounting firm was found naked in the street. The police announced that she had frozen to death, but the public wasn't interested. Rumors about her love life were everywhere.

Han Suilin, captain of Criminal Investigation Team One, was given the urgent assignment of finding the killer.

After receiving his orders, Han Suilin yawned and lazily answered, "Yes, sir."

The bureau chief was furious. "Take this seriously! If you don't find the killer, I'll suspend you!"

[04]

Later, Han Suilin asked Xu Chuanzhi, "Will you regret what you did?"

Xu Chuanzhi shook his head as if it were obvious. "No. The moment I made my decision, I was already prepared for everything."

A laid-back, infuriating gong (Han Suilin) x a calm, composed, cool beauty of a shou (Xu Chuanzhi)
