Bandits and Young Masters: A Few Tales [Republican Era]

In 1918, the First World War came to an end, and Germany officially announced its surrender. Tang Xisang, a young master recently returned from studying abroad, was proud of his country, but kept up his habit of cursing the warlords.

He never expected the warlord's lackey, the bandit chief Wei Xia, to overhear him. From then on, that wretched bandit kept pestering Tang Xisang whenever he had nothing better to do, leaving Tang with one nightmare after another.

First dream: Portugal faces west toward the sea

Second dream: Spain seeks its restoration

Third dream: The Netherlands asks about trade

Fourth dream: Britain has faith

Fifth dream: France lights a beacon

Sixth dream: Where is Germany?

Seventh dream: Japan is hit by another earthquake

Eighth dream: Russia is blanketed in snow

Ninth dream: America demands freedom

Tenth dream: Five stars shine in the East

This story is mainly about how a young master, protected by a bandit chief, sees the rise of the world's great powers in his dreams, and is inspired to work hard and devote himself to education (nope).

This is a sweet little story about a bandit chief forcing himself on a young master (nope), then happily becoming his devoted simp.

Couple: The well-read young master Tang Xisang as the bottom x the bandit top Wei Xia, who rolls his eyes at the young master but still takes care of him.

*The names of the top and bottom come from the Book of Songs, in the poem "Xi Sang": "The mulberry trees in the lowlands stand tall... How could I not speak to you?"

Premise: Believe in yourself
