It's So Hard to Get the Family Comeback Script Right

[June 5, 2024]

After transmigrating into a cultivation world, the protagonist finds himself in a family that's fallen on hard times, and truly fallen on hard times.

The few family shops are poorly managed and lose money every day. The elders are frail, the previous generation has suffered one accident after another, and the family has few children. The protagonist is the only youngster.

Protagonist: I was forced to become the hope of the whole family the moment I was born :)

Then more accidents happen, and the protagonist is forced to take over as head of the family at a young age. He thinks he's got a family-comeback story on his hands, but after going through the account books, he seriously starts considering whether they should just call it quits.

If nothing else works, why not send everyone off to join a sect?

But before he can voice this outrageous idea,

on the first night after taking over as head of the family, he closes his eyes and somehow transmigrates again, this time to three thousand years in the past.

It's the same place and the same family, but back then the family was one of the greatest in the cultivation world: wealthy, flourishing, and constantly producing new geniuses.

When he opens his eyes again, he's back three thousand years in the future. He thinks about the mighty clan he just saw, then looks at the few stragglers in front of him. Protagonist: ...

I should've transmigrated to an earlier time.

It's not easy to get a comeback story!

Closing his eyes again, he returns to three thousand years in the past. He grabs the first familiar-looking person he sees and cries, "Great-great-great-great-grandpa, help me!"

"Huh? Are you talking to me?" The boy he's grabbed pauses, then says awkwardly, "But, big brother, I'm only ten."

Protagonist: "That's fine! Ten-year-old great-great-great-great-grandpa, help me!"

Theme: Unity is strength
