The next, he was in a lush primeval forest. So the script he'd been handed changed from a school failure making a comeback in the college entrance exams to a total idiot trying to survive in the jungle. Zhou Dian: ...Fine. Fortunately, Zhou Dian was rescued by a group of people before long. And they were cultivators! Zhou Dian thought he could finally relax after shamelessly joining their sect, but it turned out... Their sect cultivates through imagination! And what's more... His master was a raving lunatic who kept muttering that darkness was spreading across the land and the world was about to end. His senior sister was always talking about instances, cycles, and infinity. His second senior brother mumbled about Lovecraftian horrors, sanity points, and other things he couldn't understand. His third senior brother went on about how the uncanny couldn't be killed by humans, and that the world was full of uncanny creatures... Zhou Dian, who'd read novels in all those genres: ...Nice. So this is the way you imagined cultivation? Looking at the talisman he'd just drawn in his hand, with his dantian diligently absorbing spiritual energy, Zhou Dian could only feel that an ordinary person's life was as lonely as snow. So he was the only one in this sect practicing cultivation for real! Somewhere Zhou Dian couldn't see, five people who had just finished their respective missions stared at the faintly shimmering mass, a mist that seemed to be breathing, and fell silent. Stop it, Zhou Dian. How could you possibly cultivate in this world?! Infinite spaces, Lovecraftian corruption, uncanny resurgences, rule-based horror stories... A series of higher-dimensional forces invaded this world. Humanity struggled to survive, slowly figuring out the rules that would keep them alive. Until one day, a high school student suddenly disappeared. Afterward, a sect was quietly established. P.S. Invincible protagonist + unserious cultivation story. [Next story's blurb~] After transmigrating back to ancient times, into a powerful dynasty where cultivation was still possible, Qin Yuanyu became a prince with neither power nor influence. His eldest brother was wise and benevolent, his eldest sister exceptionally talented, his younger brother brave in battle, and his younger sister lively and elegant... He alone, surrounded by siblings gifted beyond measure, became famous throughout the country for being too mediocre. Qin Yuanyu: ... Should I just leave? Though his aptitude was poor, Qin Yuanyu didn't give up. He quickly packed his things and set off for the mountains to seek immortality. If he couldn't master martial arts, he could still cultivate! But just before he left for the mountains, an urgent order summoned him back to the palace. His father was about to die, and Qin Yuanyu was the next emperor. Qin Yuanyu: ...Well, that was sudden. The court officials ignored him, his siblings were unhappy with him, and the newly enthroned Qin Yuanyu was nothing but a puppet emperor. Every day he sat in court as a lucky charm, listening to everyone argue. One day, tired of all the bickering, Qin Yuanyu simply got up and left. The next second: "Ding! Tyrant System successfully bound. Host has completed the achievement: Neglecting state affairs. Reward: +1 martial power." Then another voice piped up, unwilling to be outdone: "Ding! Benevolent Ruler System successfully bound. Please work diligently, Host, and strive to become a wise ruler~" Qin Yuanyu: ! How about you two fight it out first?! P.S. Set in a world of high martial arts. No CP. The protagonist only wants to cultivate, but the throne landed in his lap. Theme: Stay clearheaded and hold firm to your convictions
