[Reality is so fantastical, folks. To avoid people reading too much into it, I have to change this story's premise.]
[Please don't bookmark this one just yet! The title, blurb, main characters, and core premise are all going to change! I can't write about a homeless man anymore!!]
Huo Bo is a shamelessly thick-skinned homeless man with maxed-out stats and skills, but a charisma score so low it's practically below the earth's crust.
After he somehow “rescues” a humanoid succubus, he inexplicably finds himself surrounded by a crowd of admirers with pink hearts floating over their heads?!
Thanks for the offer, but I'm grabbing my beloved little bedroll and making a run for it!
There are so many people chasing after him, they could open a mahjong parlor: a golden-red tin can, a man in a hellish cape, a serial killer, a sentient purple potato, and a bunch of aliens who've traveled from afar but can't even give their names...
Wait, don't let nonhuman creatures join in! How could that possibly work?!
[Things to know before reading]
1. The original characters belong to their original works. Any OOC behavior is my fault, and my headcanons are everywhere. Anything unreasonable is on me. The characters' values are not the author's.
2. The author has never been to America or been homeless. This is all imagination, so please don't scrutinize it. If reading this makes you unhappy, please close it right away. I'm truly sorry if it makes you uncomfortable.
3. This may contain tasteless, dark, and suggestive jokes, among other things. For your mental and physical well-being, I recommend reading only if you're over eighteen.
4. No CP decided yet; we'll see how the story develops. The protagonist is a laid-back, sarcastic type with mysterious combat skills, and is usually uninterested in romance in the early story. If he truly falls for a man, he'll be the top.
5. The idea of affection levels appearing as hearts was inspired by the Japanese manga Witch's Test. Other than that, the two have no connection.
6. DC and Marvel are based on the movies only. Some obscure works may be mentioned, but you can still follow the story even if you haven't seen them.
7. Updates are whenever inspiration strikes. If I'm feeling enthusiastic, I'll post something every week.
