[Resident Evil] The Water There Tastes Like Wine

The first time Alexander met Leon, he knew he would never be able to forget him for the rest of his life.

[Please Read Before Starting]

1. This is a Resident Evil game fanfic and has nothing to do with the movies. The main story follows two timelines in parallel and spans a long period. It includes many personal interpretations and references to numerous works. It's fine if you haven't read or played them; the author's notes will explain the terms.

2. All canon characters belong to the original works; any out-of-character moments are my responsibility. I don't bash any canon characters.

3. This Alexander is an original protagonist, not the Alexander from Resident Evil: Damnation. The two leads are versatile in bed. Early in the timeline, Alexander tends to top; they end up in a monogamous relationship. Both leads have their own romantic histories, and both have dated women, but all of that happened before the story begins and may be mentioned. If you have strong preferences about relationship history or other matters, please, please don't read!

4. This story may contain potentially upsetting descriptions. Readers are advised to be at least 18. If any scene, plot point, or description bothers you while reading, don't hesitate to close the page. I'm very sorry for causing you discomfort!

5. The actions and thoughts of all characters are not the author's views. The author's values are very sound! This original story is entirely fictional, so please don't read anything into it.

6. The title was inspired by the game of the same name, Where the Water Tastes Like Wine, but the actual content is completely unrelated.

7. This is mainly a writing exercise. Updates may be irregular, even once a year, so enter at your own risk.
