A Marriage Pact with My Straight Childhood Friend

Gu Chi has a childhood friend. They've grown up together.

The good news is that his childhood friend doesn't know he's in love with him.

The bad news is that his childhood friend's one true love is about to return to the country.

To avoid ruining their friendship, Gu Chi decides to pack up and leave.

Unexpectedly, on the day he leaves, his childhood friend comes after him and asks him to enter into a marriage of convenience.

Just those words are enough. Gu Chi turns around and pulls his suitcase back inside.

The moment he signs the marriage agreement, he decides to put his feelings away and become a model tool husband.

Xie Zhiling is sick to death of being nagged to get married every day. One day, a friend suggests he find someone to pretend to marry.

He immediately thinks of Gu Chi.

"A Chi, you're my best friend. Be my wife."

The man says this with a completely serious expression.

Gu Chi agrees.

Their married life is no different from how things were before.

Xie Zhiling still likes to hold Gu Chi while they sleep, asks Gu Chi to report his every move, and kisses his cheek every morning to say good morning.

Until one day, Xie Zhiling sleeps with him.

After that night, his view of his friend is turned upside down. Even the slightest touch feels like a flame burning at his fingertips.

Xie Zhiling goes to see a psychologist with a stiff expression. He mustn't defile his A Chi.

But the more he sees the doctor, the worse he gets.

The more he tries to control himself, the more he loses control.

He doesn't know what to do and tries to get closer to test the waters, only to find that no matter how intimate his gestures are, A Chi thinks they're just the affectionate antics of close friends.

Xie Zhiling: ...I'm going crazy.

Gu Chi's childhood friend seems to have gone crazy. It was just one night together, nothing to make a fuss about. He doesn't dare take it seriously.

But then the man starts kissing and touching him again and again. One time, he even holds Gu Chi and begs for a kiss.

Is that how friends are supposed to act?

Gu Chi is flustered and annoyed by his childhood friend's advances, afraid they'll end up losing their friendship altogether.

Just then, the man's one true love returns to the country. Gu Chi tears up the agreement and runs away.

Xie Zhiling enters, nervous and uneasy, ready to confess. Instead of a hug, he's met with a divorce agreement.

His smile freezes and cracks apart. His voice low and edging toward madness, he says, "A Chi. Are you trying to run away?"

"Do I have to tie you up to make you behave?"
