Gu Qile found himself a husband online. The man had unusual tastes and was exactly his type. Pleasing the man pleased him, too, and their relationship made him feel wonderfully comfortable.
Then one day, a gift he'd sent the man showed up in the hands of his direct supervisor.
His mind went blank, and he spent two days in a panic. Unable to bring himself to delete every way of contacting the man, he stopped logging in for good.
Chen Angsi was the heir to a wealthy family, and his relatives kept arranging one blind date after another. When an account with no identifying details messaged him and immediately laid out a list of rules, he raised an eyebrow and was about to delete it.
Then the person sent him a photo of his abs: fair skin and lean muscle, with smooth lines running down to a glimpse of the dimples at his waist.
As if possessed, he couldn't bring himself to refuse.
That man was practically made to suit his tastes. Every inch of him fit perfectly in Chen Angsi's hands. Countless times, Chen Angsi stared at the screen and let his imagination run wild, watching all the little trinkets dangling from the man's body, until he was left breathless, toes curling and even his knees turning pink.
How could his wife be so beautiful?
Chen Angsi bought gifts by the dozen, copying other people by clearing out his wife's shopping cart. Waist chains, diamonds, all of it. He showered his wife with money for a month, and his wife went along with everything except meeting in person. Chen Angsi assumed his wife was shy. After yet another video call, he was burning with desire and couldn't stop himself from asking to meet again.
Then his wife deleted him.
Chen Angsi was so furious he ground his teeth to dust. He was going to search every corner of A City and find his wife.
When Gu Qile heard his boss was frantically looking for someone, he wished he could tuck his tail between his legs and disappear. He dressed even more plainly and tried to make himself completely invisible. Luckily, he'd always been a nobody at the company, and no one paid him any attention.
Just as Gu Qile let his guard down and breathed a sigh of relief, the man called him into his office.
"Does this waist chain look familiar?"
The man stared at him, holding up a sparkling, finely faceted chain in his large, long-fingered hand.
Gu Qile instinctively squeezed his legs together. He lowered his head, his voice barely audible. "Mr. Chen, I've never seen it."
"Is that so? Why don't you put it on and show me?"
He never expected the man to be hiding in plain sight. He never imagined his timid wife would dare to appear right in front of him.
A short, sweet story for a quick thrill.
