An Incubus, but Now Practicing the Way of Ruthlessness

Free short story, updated whenever inspiration strikes.

A laid-back, frigid incubus top x a reserved, flirtatious demon big shot bottom

As the most sexually frigid incubus in the entertainment industry, with the lowest scandal rate and the highest chance of keeping his career intact, Zhu Xuqiao, a nobody ranked somewhere beyond the thirty-eighth tier, received an invitation to appear on the BL dating show No Falling in Love.

No Falling in Love invited six male contestants. Zhu Xuqiao's task was to make the other five fall for him during the thirty days of filming.

If he succeeded, Zhu Xuqiao would receive his internship certificate and graduate on the spot.

Zhu Xuqiao, an incubus who had spent five years repeating his final year, was very tempted. He decided to put his long-neglected lessons to use. But when he met the other contestants, he wanted to quit on the spot.

Contestant number one was taciturn, cold, and aloof. Contestant number two was an expressionless iceberg, never cracking a smile. Contestant number three was cold, serious, old-fashioned, and distant. Contestant number four was withdrawn and unapproachable. Contestant number five was detached and icy, as cold as frost.

And the last contestant was none other than him, a pure-blooded incubus who was completely frigid.

Despairing, Zhu Xuqiao wondered: Does anyone actually watch this dating show?

What he didn't know was that this dating show was a graduation internship for students of the Way of Ruthlessness.

Their mission was to absolutely not fall for anyone.

Pei Wenqing was a powerful tycoon from a wealthy family, with a net worth of tens of billions. He was mature, wealthy, calm, and self-controlled.

He also had a secret no one knew.

He was a demon.

To repay a friend's kindness, the demon Pei Wenqing became a contestant on No Falling in Love.

Before filming began, he received his task sheet from the production team.

He had to avoid falling in love while making the other male contestants fall for him.

Tempting humans was as easy as breathing for a demon, but once filming started, the only one who caught his interest was the incubus whose seduction skills were in the negatives.

The task said he had to make the other contestants fall for him. It didn't say it couldn't be the same contestant every time, right?
